Sylvia is a licensed esthetician who built Skin by Brownlee & Co. from her treatment room. After years of seeing acne, dark spots and sensitive skin up close, especially on melanin-rich skin, she formulated the products she wished her clients already had: effective enough to show results, gentle enough to use every day.

Not effective/smaller bottle

I have used this line for years with great results. However, the cream is advised in a jar and I received a very small bottle. I waited until I used the whole thing. The pump is defective, as well as it is on the face wash., The cream didn’t do anything, it actually irritated my eyes and i had to stop using it as much. I waited longer since I was using it now once a day. But no improvement at all.

Brighten Eye Cream

I haven’t seen any improvement.

Sits on top of skin

I was very excited about this product and unfortunately it didn’t meet expectations. After several uses I noticed the product was not absorbing into my skin. I followed instructions on the product’s bottle, yet was still left with a white residue that sat on my face shortly after application. Very similar to dried yogurt. I applied right after washing my face. I applied right after washing my face after a toner, and also with no toner; same result.
I applied and didn’t put any moisturizer on top to see if it was clashing with my moisturizer possibly same result. I would put eye masks to help it absorb, and yet still it would dry, flake and I was left with the product sitting on top of my skin. White flakes of product that should have been in my skin. I have other products from the brand that have not yielded this result so maybe this particular product just isn’t for me. But after going through half the bottle and trying to troubleshoot, it was sad to see that I was not going to get the results I anticipated.

The bottle is smaller than I expected and the pump is defective.
